The Correct Voice

Stepsisters can make dangerous bedfellows.  At least in my case, this statement was true. In the sixth grade, the house we lived in only had three bedrooms. Because there weren't enough for all of the family, my stepsister and I had to share a room.  At night, before we went to bed, we would roll up a blanket and place it down the middle of the bed. Neither of us dared cross the line of separation.  However, one morning, I must have messed up and crossed it.  I awoke with my stepsister slapping me across the face. The fight was on.  My Mother came to see what all the commotion was about.  When she started to stop us, my stepfather wouldn't let her because his daughter was winning.  After the fight turned and I started winning, he let her put an end to it.  From that point on, we never shared the same bed again.

The Correct Voice

What happens when you flub and cross the line?

Are you confused, or does everything seem fine?

Did anyone share that you were about to mess up?

Perhaps at the time, your actions you tried to coverup.

The one who loves you most is there to talk to you.

Listen to His loving voice and hear what is true.

Many things in this world can cause your mind to stray.

God will lead you if you'll listen to what he has to say.
